A stone room standing in the water. The Delta Museum tells the story of the 1953 flood from a single block of limestone, opened on one side so the sea is always part of the exhibition.

One room, cut open: working material for Delta Museum

One room, cut open

We drew the museum as a solid and then removed what the light needed. The galleries sit where the stone is thickest; the route ends at the opening facing the Westerschelde.
